The Volksbouwkeuken is a mobile kitchen wich is build up at building sites and empty buildings. The system consits of old wooden crates, beams and wegdes. People who are passing by are invited or people who knew by forehand about the Volksbouwkeuken can join to make a meal together. The idea is to show and feel the contradiction between the social aspect of cooking a meal together and the roughness of the location.
