This is just one place where windmill parts that have small cracks are stored, waitingto be demolished, they are pretty big, so you can spot them from google earth!
Because of the cracks they cannot be used in their original use.
The rotor blades are beautifully shaped 3d objects consisting of an 8 cm thick load-bearing polyester skin.
We will use 4 off them in a project for a play garden this year. They are each 29 m long and between 2,7*1 m and 60*20 cm in section.
They are big enough for the kids to be able to go in and out, climb them and slide off. One off the rotor blades will stand straight up and carry a small windmill to generate energy for a water pump that will create a little river along another blade that is laying flat.
