On Het Blauwe Huis in IJburg Amsterdam is now the Third appearance of the Recycloop this Year. The now called Sustainable Sky-box is a cooperation between 2012architecten and Jeanne van Heeswijks’, Jeanneworks.

The building was opened last Friday, august 4th and will stay here until the end of November. As Sustainable Sky-box it now functions as a multi-purpose space for cultural neighborhood activities. The box can collect rain in a fluid-tank, to moist the collective garden.

The panels are connected to a sort of constructivist scaffolding and are now open on the bottom end, the inside space has a comfortable breezy openness. On this picture it really has become a box in the sky, since the blue of the house meets heaven: Air-castle made of stainless steel.
