Well I'm bran-newskie to this site, and def. don't want a flame battle - but this thing is NOT something that will teach a kid NOT to put their hands in a socket. I'm quite certain my daughter (2.5 yrs., and a smart, inquisitive kid) would want to stick her fingers where the dolls are. Does the baby doll scream for an instant, then go into convulsions, and turn various shades of the color spectrum? I'm all for creative ideas, and have no need nor want to bash anyone - but this will NOT teach a kid to keep away from sockets. Just MHO.
I fully agree with the first comment. I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old and I would NEVER get something like this. This is a deathtrap for any curious child. NEVER EVER CREATE ANYTHING THAT ENCOURAGES KIDS TO PLAY AROUND POWER SOCKETS. I hope the webmaster removes this item before it inspires someone to do something stupid which results in a child getting seriously hurt or killed.
Although I think idejeu's comment about teaching kids not to put fingers in lightsockets was tongue in cheek, I still wouldn't put this art piece in a kid's room or even MY room as a nightlight. In the dark it would be way too creepy.
BTW - Have you guys seen this:

hey people, LIGHTEN UP! it's just a lamp. The lamp was a big hit during the opening @ POOL120 and was sold the same night to a family with kids!, no reports of electrocuted children (yet). More baby dolls are waiting to be enlightened, just shoot me...an e-mail and we'll figure something out.
It is spreading like an oil stain, designers all over the world are putting bulbs into baby dolls. Check out Florian Krautli, a young designer from Switzerland...
WTF?
