Catch Of The Day



Surf’s Up! But with less fun, fun, fun in the dirty oceans and on the beaches of today. To bring some attention to this ocean pollution, and to show how very disgusting this stuff really is, the Surfrider Foundation teamed up with advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi LA and created ‘Catch of the Day’.

Trash was collected from the beaches around the U.S. and than packaged like sea food and left on display at various farmer’s markets, complete with tag stickers. The campaign is site-specific and gives consumers an actual insight on consumption behaviour. Hopefully, creating awareness, to realise that trash isn’t someone else’s problem.
