Dura-Coignet folly: part 3

Algemeen

Architectuur

The elements and other usable components, such as balcony rails, are transported by truck and by ship from Spijkenisse to the Eemhaven (Heijplaat).

By stacking, leaning, gun waling or linking (for example) of the elements startling new spaces are created, that can be utilised as a pavilion, a bus stop, a open-air theatre, or a sandpit.

This way, they offer new accommodations for the inhabitants of today. The trail back to the factory becomes a place where new histories can be created.
