This exposition pavilion is constructed with plywood and covered with 3 layers of discarded advertisement transparencies originally depicting perfume bottles. These 3 mm perspex sheets are discarded yearly by a big cosmetics company, because each year they promote a new collection of bottles.
By layering the selected pictures the skin becomes an abstract, surreal and colorful surface. The inside is covered with translucent perspex forming a surface for exposing projects. In between the lamps are fitted.
Because the light reacts on any sounds that are around, the object will attract attention blinking irregularly. As soon a visitor steps in, the soundtrack is triggered which makes the light shine continuously, thus making the exposed projects visible.
Originally made for the folly dock design competition this object is now for rent.
