End of life cycle. Paint cans, obviously used to transport paint, in small amounts.
Thin plate steel, up to 1 mm. Cylinder form, variable in content; for example 1 liter, 2,5 liters and 5 liters. The 1 liter paint can has the following dimensions: diameter 120 mm, height 200 mm.
A nice and colorful block volume. Filled up with sand and glued together, the cans can be put up in a solid wall.
The cans can be found at paint shops, waste collectors, construction companies, decoration firms.
In Rotterdam the print office Van Setten has a volume of 1 m3 cans available every three months. The paint cans still contain dried up colorful ink and come in sizes of 1, 2,5 and 5 liter. Most of them will have lost their lids.
