Screen Saver The Hague

The Hague (NL)

Superuse Studios

The museum shop of the “Yes Naturally” exhibition held in GEM, The Hague, in 2013 was a showcase of using old computer screens in design, instead of putting them in landfills and/or recycling. For the shop about 100 computer screens are used, of various sizes and models. To get a consistent look all monitors are sorted to see if we had any twins, luckily this was the case. If you want to know more about these twins see this post. We’ve also used the old catering trolleys of KLM, these could form free standing ‘shopping islands’ or a wall to close the shop.
