Lot-ek architects (located in New York) designed in 2000 for the Edizioni Press pivoting walls/bookcases made of sinks.

Project description:

‘Eighteen 12″ deep double tub stainless steel sinks are assembled to form to pivoting vertical panels. Hinged on a central pivot the panels are used both as rotating dividers and as storage/display units. The back of each panel is coated with automotive paint and finishes with clear rubber.
